Mary Marshall is an extraordinarily talented band leader,
keyboard artist & vocalist. She is a gifted composer, arranger & musical director. Her ensembles vary from two to
six piece combos. Her combos have the ability to play all types of music for all types of events,
• wedding dances
• corporate events
• banquets
• fundraisers
• special events
• concerts
Mary is also well versed in providing keyboard music &
vocals in concert. She has performed with the Fargo Moorhead Symphony Orchestra for the Moody Blues. She had also toured with
the Diamonds in several cities. She was featured as piano soloist when she performed "Rhapsody in Blue" with the Fargo Moorhead

Mary can also provide background music for a social & dinner hour. She has performed in country clubs from Florida (the
Colony Tennis Club and Resort) to the Midwest (the Fargo Country Club for ten years). She is very comfortable in the performance
of all types of music that would enhance your event; from elegant classical music to light & lively jazz or even your
favorite popular music.
Mary was the music director for WCPO Television Scripts/Howard
Productions in Cincinnati for several years. Her quartet hosted several shows. She performed for Rosemary Clooney at the Riverfront
Stadium in Cincinnati.She was also the conductor & host band for several shows in the Cincinnati area including Bill Walthrus
Big Band, Don Cornell, the Allen & Rossi comedy team, the Ink Spots, the O-Jays, and many more.
She also performed for Barack Obama at the North Dakota 2008
Democratic Convention. The band also performed for an all day session of the Nominating Process between speeches. Mary taught classical and jazz piano at Concordia College Moorhead, MN, taught
the Dakota Jazz Choir and classical and jazz piano at North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota, and taught classical
and jazz piano and Music Industry at Minnesota State University of Moorhead. Mary is also the founder of Jazz Expansion, a performance practice which she has written about and lectured.
Mary has produced two Compact Discs. Her first CD entitled, Hot Frost, debuted in 1996. It contains all original arrangements
as well as four original compositions (recorded in arm braces after incurring injuries in a severe automobile accident.) Her
newest CD, Cashmere, is downloadable on iTunes. Both physical versions of the CD's are available at Barnes & Noble,
